ROAR Columbus (Redevelop Our Area Responsibly) was founded in May 2008 in response to the announcement by Arshot Investment Corporation of their plan to turn Cooper Stadium into a high-speed auto racing complex.

ROAR Columbus is a coalition of Franklinton and Columbus-area residents and business owners.

ROAR Columbus supports the redevelopment of Cooper Stadium in a manner that's appropriate to its urban neighborhood location and consistent with the green initiatives proposed by the Columbus Mayor, Columbus City Council and Franklin County Commissioners.
