Stadium
Cooper Stadium, the site for the proposed motorsports speedway, is on W. Mound Street in Franklinton, approximately 1. 5 miles southwest of downtown Columbus.
Franklinton is a densely populated community with a mixture of homes, apartments and businesses.
To the north and west of the site are residential neighborhoods. Green Lawn Cemetery and Mount Calvary Cemetery are along the southern and eastern borders, respectively. And lying directly at the end of the proposed drag strip is WeCare, a nursing and care facility (see maps below).
