In 2008, Franklin County Economic Development & Planning asked the acoustical consulting firm American Acoustical Associates to bid on the proposed redevelopment of Cooper Stadium. American Acoustical declined to bid. The letter below outlines their reasons, but more important, it expresses their serious concerns about building a motorports facility in an urban area.
